Confirming links

ConfirmLink displays a confirmation dialog box before loading the linked page. This lets you create a confirmation dialog box so that when viewers click a link they can confirm whether they want to go to that link. Clicking OK will display the linked page; clicking Cancel will return the viewer to the original page.

To apply the ConfirmLink action:

1 Set up the action trigger as described in Setting up actions. This action can only be triggered by a mouse event, such as clicking a link.

2 Choose Actions Plus > ConfirmLink in the Actions palette.

3 For Message, enter the confirmation message. You can start a new line within the message by typing \n.

4 For Go To This URL On OK, link to the Web page or URL to display when the viewer clicks OK in the confirmation dialog box. If you don't link to a page or URL (leaving it Empty Reference!), the page is not redirected, but displays the original page instead.

5 For Target Frame Name, enter the frame you want to load on the page. Otherwise, the entire page is loaded.
